Fred Greive
Mr. Greive has worked as a traffic crash reconstructionist for over 30 years.  He began his 27 year career service with the Highway Patrol after first serving in the United States Army.  He joined the OSHP in 1971 where he served as a Traffic Crash Reconstructionist in Northwest Ohio.  He has received training in vehicle dynamics, heavy truck reconstruction, has twice attended the Bosch CDR Analysts class as well as the Detroit Diesel DDEC Reports/Data Extraction course.  After retiring in 1998 at the rank of Lieutenant he joined Valley Technical Services at the Toledo, Ohio office.  He has attended many continuing education training courses/crash conferences and is a member of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstructionists as well as the Illinois Association of Technical Accident Investigators.  Mr. Greive has testified in many state and Federal courts in Ohio and Michigan.         




Charles Veppert

With over 30 year of crash reconstruction experience Mr. Veppert brings a diverse skill set to his work.  During much of his 28 years of service with the Ohio State Highway Patrol he worked as a regional crash reconstructionist in Northeast Ohio.  He was trained in heavy truck, pedestrian/bicycle, and motorcycle reconstruction, as well as being certified as a Federal Motor Carrier Inspector for Level 1, HazMat, Bulk Tank, and Motor Coach inspections.  His final posting was as LCS Lieutenant overseeing licensing and commercial standards in the Warren District. 


Some of the many specialized training courses he has attended include Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recovery and Analysis, Detroit Diesel DDEC Reports/Extraction, Bendix Air Brake course, as well as Input-Ace Forensic Video Analysis.  He is certified in the Bosch Crash Data Retrieval System, instructed Bosch CDR Technician classes, and has published several times on EDR data analysis.  He is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction, ACTAR #696.
